Would I be allowed to bring an aerosol can of Lysol in my checked-in bagage on flights

Would I be allowed to bring an aerosol can of Lysol in my checked-in bagage on flights?
I am flying from New Orleans to Atlanta to London to Paris to Atlanta and back to New Orleans, all with Delta Airlines. I definitely NEED the Lysol because I am going to places that will require a LOT of disinfecting. Also, if it's not allowed and I bring it anyway, will they just take it and throw it away, or will they let it go?

yes you can take aerosol cans on checked baggage... for instance they dont care if you take hair spray in a can... I just flew and as long as those things are checked they never question cans or liquids.

yes, you can have lysol in your checked baggage. However, it might be wise to just buy lysol when you get to new orleans

Lysol isn't flammable so it's OK in your checked luggage: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm If you can, take a pump-spray rather than an aerosol canister. There is always a chance a pressurized canister will leak. Note that if you are concerned about toilet seats you should take with you some small containers of Lysol that fit in a pocket or bag instead of a big container. Also take with you some pocket-size packets of tissue.
