Best place for lunch in New Orleans

Best place for lunch in New Orleans?
I'm going to New Orleans this weekend for my dad's office Christmas Party. Saturday night will be taken up with the party but on Sunday we have some time before our flight to look around and have a nice lunch. What place would you recommend? Is there a place that is a definite must-go? And if you name a place or two, can you also give a brief description (like why it's a great place, what's special about it, etc.). Thanks for your help! :)

Wow wingery is a nasty chain restaurant.

If you expect to be in the French Quarter consider going to the Napoleon House, which is at 500 Chartres Street and has a menu of great local dishes: www.napoleonhouse.com If you are driving or don't mind a short taxi ride, consider Cafe Degas, which is a very French restaurant near City Park at 3127 Esplanade. Reservations can be important - 504-945-5635. www.cafedegas.com Bon appetit!
