Cheapest airfare to Austin from New Orleans

Cheapest airfare to Austin from New Orleans?
Expedia, priceline, yahoo travel, all of those sites have the exact same prices. Is there any tips or tricks you can share for a one way flight? Thanks.

try southwest , they have pretty low prices

They all have the same prices because they are all selling the same seats on the same airlines The lowest fares you will find are 108 or 109 if you book in advance. On Continental and Southwest. And we dont charge for baggage and they do. There are differences for different days of the week and when flights fill up.

First check JetBlue and Southwest, which don't sell tickets via the travel websites like Expedia. They also don't penalize you as much for buying a one-way ticket. If that doesn't work, then look at round-trip, advance purchase fares, even if you aren't certain when you will return to Austin. If still too much, consider using Greyhound. The one-way 14-day advance purchase fare is $64, and one-way 7-day advance purchase fare is $71. The bus station is downtown so you may save on airport transportation, and you can take more luggage. The down-side is that Greyhound takes 12 hours to get to New Orleans, as opposed to about 7 hours by air (counting getting to & from the airports, and waiting for flights) Good luck!
