Cheap flight from NJ to New Orleans

Cheap flight from NJ to New Orleans?
I'm going to New Orleans for an interview at my new school. Could you recommend cheap airlines? Are there any student discounts for the flight and hotel? Thanks a lot!!!!!

I would recommend flying with Southwest Airlines from Long Island, but that would be a lengthy drive, so maybe Newark Airport would be your best bet for a flight with Continental Airlines. Utilize that bargain travel sites on the internet such as Orbitz.com, Travelocity.com, and Cheapticket.com. If you fly on Delta Airlines from Newark to Cincinnati, the Cincinnati to New Orleans, the total for one adult, round-trip, in May with taxes, is $187.39.

Well you can try www.studentuniverse.com to search for flights and hotels. I'm not registered to the site, but I've heard great things about it. Second you should try Continental if you want to head direct. If you want to save some money, look into JetBlue. Take the train from NJ to JFK and then fly direct to MSY. You didn't really specify a time window when you are looking to fly, so I really can't give you an accurate estimate as I have access to multiple airlines' reservation systems

Check out the link below to compare prices for flights on all the major travel sites from one location. It's super convenient.
