Cheap flights from New Orleans area to San Diego area?

Anybody have any tips on saving money on flight from New Orleans area to SanDiego or Pheonix. I am open to driving to another city in a reasonably close area.

Your best bet is probably Southwest Airlines: www.southwest.com You can also search other airports & airlines (such as Gulfport, MS to Ontario, CA) via sites like Yahoo Travel and Travelocity.

A website that my family and friends use is: "Amazing Tours and Travel" It is part of the YTB (Your Travel Biz) Travel Network. The prices on this website include the taxes and fees. If you go directly to the airlines, you will pay more and those highly advertised sites all charge more to make up for their millions of dollars in advertising. Note: If you fly to Phoenix it is a 5 hour drive to San Diego. I know because I am from here. However, if you fly in to LAX it is a lot cheaper and only a two hour drive to San Diego. Other airports between LAX and San Diego are Ontario, Burbank, Long Beach and Santa Ana (John Wayne), and Carlsbad, but LAX is usually the cheapest. Please check out the web link below..
