What are some good quick and easy money raising ideas?

I recently got accepted into a program in New Orleans and we had to pay for tuition. Now we have to pay for flight tickets, new clothes, and money to have while Im down there for the different events we must participate in. So I was wondering what sort of things could I do to raise some money quick. I have to leave by next Saturday, June 26, 2010 so we need to get the plane tickets early this week. Any legitimate ideas will be appreciated! Thank You!

if you have a skill like sketching or drawing you could do sketches of tourists or something like that.

The best luck I've had for raising money like that is to get your family/friends to donate items for a huge yard sale. Then you can either price everything or have it as a fundraiser yard sale where people just pay whatever they want.
