Well..those are nice figures but they are wrong. As far as your "RF design engineer" goes I see people driving up and down the interstate highway at 70mph talking on the cell phone all the time. I would say you are uninformed or a liar. My guess is the liar.

I've used my cell phone on a plane before. If it is low enough, you can use it. You know, like if its low enough for amature pilots to navigate by sight of ground.
